Vassilis Georgosopoulos

Vasilis wad born and raised in Amalota of Ypati, a small village outside Lamia. In 1999 he graduated from «HCA» University of Sofia with a major in Physiotherapy. Since 2001, when he moved to Athens, he has been a regular member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists. From 2001 to 2007 he works at «PMR» medical rehabilitation center. From 2003 to 2007 he has been a teacher at «KELESO» TEE. He was worked on the rehabilitation of the athletes of the Gymnastics and Rythmic Gymnastics national teams. 
In an effort to combine the science of body physiology and artistic expression, in 2005 he starts attending classes in dance, improvisation and acting. In 2007 he starts studying in «Modernoi Kairoi» Higher Acting School, graduating in 2010. Meanwhile, he trains for 2 years in «Alexander» technique with Viky Panagiotaki and for 4 years in «contact improvisation» with Paris Mantopoulos. He has attended intensive seminars of contemporary dance and butoh. 
As a part of his research on the human body and its movement, Vasilis in 2009 is introduced to yoga and his teacher Eleftheria Lagoudaki who continues to be his instructor. He has also attended intensive seminars by David Swenson, Eddie Stern, Ty Landrum and Eleftheria Lagoudaki.

Since 2010 he teaches Comperative-Evolutionary Anatomy and Kinesiology, Ashtanga Yoga and contact improvisation to actors. He is a member of «Modernoi Kairoi» acting troupe. 
From 2012 up to this day he teaches Ashtanga Yoga at Ashtanga Yoga Athens 2002.
